Kelsey sang two songs for this year’s talent show – This year they moved it to the High School auditorium, with a stage, lighting, curtains and everything. Very nice production.

Kelsey sang “Let It Be” at the Diamond Lake Talent Show during the 4th — She didn’t compete, but was the opening act. Watch for the drummer from the band that was playing— about half-way through Kelsey’s song, he came over to his drums and joined in!

(this is as I see our Jack Russel Terrier, Hank, licking the last of the powdered sugar from a box of doughnut holes on our back porch)...

Me: “Hey! Who left the doughnuts out on the deck?”
Ian: “I think Jacob left them out”
Jacob: “It wasn’t my fault! Hank ate them!”
Me: “Jacob, Hank’s just being a dog- He’ll eat whatever he can find”
Jacob: “But it’s his fault—not mine—He ate the doughnuts!”
Me: “Jake, it’s not HIS fault. You need to be mor—”
Jacob: “IT’S HIS FAULT- DON’T SAY ANOTHER WORD!”
